Each candle is unique in the way it burns. To ensure you get the most out of your burn time, you’ll need to follow the instructions below.
Vessel Candles
- Light your candle in a well-ventilated safe space, clear of flowers and other flammable objects.
- On the first burn, allow the wax to melt until it reaches all edges of your vessel before extinguishing. This creates a memory and will help prevent tunnelling.
- Always remember to blow your candle out when you leave the room or go to sleep.
Decor Candles
- Light your candle in a well-ventilated safe space, clear of flowers and other flammable objects.
- We recommend that you place your candle on a plate, dish or other flat object before you light it so that it collects any dripping wax.
- Always remember to blow your candle out when you leave the room or go to sleep.
Ongoing Use
- When not in use, place your candle away from direct sunlight or other heat sources as this may cause discolouration of your candle.
- Before you light the candle again, we recommend that you trim the wick to 5-10mm from the surface of the wax. This will ensure a consistent smoke-free flame.
Candle Safety
- Keep your candles out of reach from children and pets.
- Discontinue use when the wax reaches 10mm from the bottom.
- If your candle contains florals or other flammable objects it is recommended that you remove them before lighting your candle.
